In 1969, John Pehrson discovered the thrill of entrepreneurship co-founding an internationally acclaimed fly fishing resort on the historically rich Teton River. The business quickly became a popular and thriving resort business. For over twenty years, John was also a partner in Teton Valley Lodge Sites and Teton Valley Ventures, two real estate development companies. John simultaneously moved forward with his interest in real estate in successfully getting an Idaho real estate sales license and subsequently became an associate broker. John has worked in developing and selling resort homes, land and vacation properties in Teton Valley, near Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Tom Knight has been licensed in real estate in the Driggs area since 1978, with a prior license in California. He is a transplant to Idaho after spending 25 years in Southern California where he worked as a Chief Officer on the Fire Department for the City of Costa Mesa and doing custom interiors for an Interior Decorator. Born and raised in rural Pennsylvania, he went to California for a two week vacation after spending 33 months in the military during the Korean Conflict. The vacation was extended when he went to work for the City of Costa Mesa and later met and married a young lady who was born and raised in Jackson, Wyoming. After spending time each summer in Jackson and Driggs and falling in love with the country, (and enticement from a Driggs real estate broker) the move was made to Driggs Idaho. |
